Farmstands & Pit Stops

If you find yourself driving upstate towards the Hudson Valley, a great place to take a break and stretch your legs is at Blooming Hill Farm. It’s got a lovely little farmstand and delicious farm-to-table dining. 

A few tips though, if you’re driving by during dinner time please do call ahead. They’ve gotten incredibly popular over the last few years and it can be hit or miss with a wait during prime dining hours.

Also, no pets on the property so be aware in case you’re driving with a dog (we learned this with grandma!). There’s plenty of places though for kids to run around, and it's easy dining inside or out which means less guilt for any parents with small kids. 

Their farm stand spills out into a covered patio and I was absolutely enamored with the lighting that day.
